With all the news and attention on furloughs, I missed this. So, I'll use it to start a leisurely Sunday, typically a family day. And what better way than to see the White House's official portrait of the First Family: President Barack Obama, Sasha Obama, First Lady Michelle Obama, and Malia Obama. Probably the most interesting part to me is that if you try to get the full size version of the photo, it links to Flickr. It's nice to see that the Obama White House is keeping up with technology. Today, I bid aloha to yet another co-worker. She is leaving us to return to her career in the U. S. Air Force. Her departure is a big loss for us, but we've all been sharing our well-wishes, hugs, and lei with her today.

The electricity just went out at my condo. That's an inconvenience for sure, but today was the day I planned to setup my new Tripp-Lite Battery Backup system (so that I can safely shut down electrical equipment).
Making matters worse, it's also the day I was going to completely drain my iPhone 3Gs to zero and fully charge to 100%, per Apple's instructions. I guess I should be upset with myself for not doing this yesterday. At least I have my new power inverter and can charge my Acer in the car.
